1. Policy Statement

Certified Installers Limited is dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, visitors, and all relevant stakeholders. We are committed to preventing accidents, injuries, and work-related ill health in the workplace.

2. Responsibilities

Management at Certified Installers Limited acknowledges its responsibility for providing the necessary resources and support to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.

3. Risk Assessment and Control Measures

​

Regular risk assessments will be conducted to identify and control workplace hazards specific to our industry. Control measures will be implemented and monitored to minimise the risk of accidents and injuries.

4. Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR)

​

All employees must promptly report any accidents, injuries, or dangerous occurrences as required by RIDDOR. The designated person responsible for RIDDOR reporting is Ivan Tully.

5. First Aid

​

• Certified Installers Limited will provide first aid facilities in easily accessible locations.

• Trained first aiders will be available during working hours, and their details will be prominently displayed.

• A first aid box will be located at 22 Kincraig Business Park, Blackpool, FY2 0PJ.

• Emergency procedures will be communicated clearly to all employees and contractors.

6. Ill Health Training

• Certified Installers Limited will provide training to employees on recognising and reporting symptoms of work-related ill health specific to our industry.

• Training programs will be conducted regularly to educate employees on maintaining good health and well-being in the context of our work.

• Information on occupational health services and resources will be made available to all employees.

7. Communication and Consultation

Regular communication channels will be established to inform Certified Installers Limited employees about health and safety matters. Employees will be encouraged to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.

8. Emergency Procedures

Clear and effective emergency procedures, including evacuation plans and specific measures for our industry, will be in place.

Health and safety performance at Certified Installers Limited will be monitored regularly, and the policy will be reviewed annually or as needed to ensure its effectiveness and relevance to our industry.
